Currently 20% of the worlds human population does not know where their next meal will be comming from. That is around 1.4 billion people. Food insecurity is a major concern. Each farmer feeds an average of 156 people a day and the efforts to inrease productivity still are not enough. This is exceptionally worse when you consider the prediction that the world's population will be 9.6 billion by 2050.
Andy's Beekeeping, LLC will be holding "Poverty Dinners" across Tennessee, which will educate the public on hunger awareness in our world. Each ticket will cost $15 a piece. You will recieve a full meal with each ticket, and 100% of the profit will go to our charity. You must be 18 or older to attend, no exceptions.
How are we going to use the money?
The money we make from holding these events will be used to purchase drought resistant crop seeds. These seeds will be shipped to a community in a third-world country. The owner of Andy's Beekeeping, as well as a translator will go to this country to educate the public on new farming methods to help insure maximum yield year by year.
